1. Locking In Your Wheelies

When you bring the front wheel up, it’s easy for your body to slide backward or for your feet to lift off the standard pegs. A footlock allows you to hook your boot under or against the bracket. This physically locks you to the chassis of the Wish 01, giving you massive stability, stopping that sketchy "wobbly wheelie" feeling, and making it much easier to hit and hold your balance point.

2. Leverage for Matched Braking

If you've upgraded to a hard-biting brake setup (like Ultra Bee brakes), modulating your rear brake lever while the front tire is in the air requires total stability. Because your foot is firmly braced against the footlock, you can micro-adjust your rear brake with incredible precision without worrying about your foot slipping or your weight shifting unexpectedly.
